Audience response to IF Oxford 2025 demonstrated continued strong quality, impact and advocacy. Over 95% of attendees rated both individual events and the Festival overall as good or excellent, confirming consistently high standards of delivery across a diverse programme.
Learning outcomes were significant, with 95% of participants reporting that they learned something new that felt relevant to their lives, interests or work, supporting IF Oxford’s contribution to social and informal learning underpinned by science and innovation literacy and skills development.
Social and civic engagement indicators were also strong. More than 90% of visitors spoke to someone they did not already know, highlighting IF Oxford’s effectiveness in creating inclusive spaces that foster dialogue, trust and shared understanding within and between groups with differing STEM engagement habits; 19% have never been to a science event before while 11% attend several per year.
Advocacy and return intent remain high. Over 90% of visitors said they would recommend IF Oxford to others and expressed interest in attending again, demonstrating sustained engagement and long-term value for Oxford science and ideas Festival’s diverse community of partners.
