Megalith: immersive experience

Saturday 24 October 2026

Mine stone with antlers like a Neolithic miner, lie back and listen to the slow geological rumble of rocks, or wander with magic stones within a giant stone circle, enjoying the lights dance and flow around you as you move. Amid a changing climate, what might be the future of energy, beyond fossil fuels? Megalith offers a tactile, meditative exploration through copper, cobalt, lithium and tin – the critical metals that make up the batteries of tomorrow.
Made by MECHANIMAL in collaboration with Professor Jon Blundy (Earth Sciences, Oxford University). Presented by the Schwarzman Centre in partnership with the Natural History Museum and supported by Innovate UK & Arts Council England.
