STEM Sisters: Explore fossils with Mary Anning

Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, New Inn Hall Street, Oxford OX1 2DH

Meet an icon from science history with practical activities, object handling and demonstrations. Hear about Mary Anning’s fossil hunting in Lyme Regis alongside her challenges as a 19th century woman. As you learn how fossils form, experience the excitement of finding ‘curiosities’, the puzzle of piecing the parts together and the joy of understanding what Mary had found.

Children (individuals or groups) must be accompanied by an adult and tickets booked for all participants.
