Protein and Performance

Venue: Buzz Gym, Westgate Shopping Centre, Queen St, Oxford, OX1 1NZ

Do you have to eat meat to maintain strength and mass? What do we mean by performance?

Join Buzz Gym Personal Trainers and competitive bodybuilders Maria Reyes and Joe Butler, and Susan Jebb, Professor of Diet and Population Health, to explore the relationship between protein and sporting performance. Susan is a leading nutrition scientist who focuses on diet and disease, and how evidence on diet is translated into policy and practice, by government, industry and the media. Pick up some tips and share your ideas on how to balance your athletic goals.

IF Oxford is operating a Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing system. This works by enabling you to pre-book events without paying for a ticket beforehand. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to pay what you decide you want to, or can afford. If you prefer, you can make a donation when you book.

There may be tickets available on the door – spaces may be reallocated if ticket holders are late.
