Hear the freshest imagination from new poets and meet the winners from the 2023 Poetry of Science competition. Poetry styles including sonnets and free verse will show ideas in science through the lens of youth, presented by Niall Munro from Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre and poet Arji Manuelpillai. Pick up your free Poetry of Science anthology and consider creating your own entry for next year.
IF Oxford uses Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing so you can choose to pay whatever you want or can afford. You can make your donation during booking or after the event and the amount you pay is up to you. A suggested donation of £5 per person for each event enjoyed will help secure the future of the Festival. IF Oxford is run by The Oxfordshire Science Festival (charity #1151361) and your donation may be eligible for Gift Aid, where a charity can claim back an extra 25% of your donation at no cost to you.

A special edition of Oxfordshire County Library’s weekly Board Game club: meet medical science researchers from the University of Oxford while playing a selection of disease and pandemic related board games. This will run alongside the regular club session. Other Board Game clubs: 4–7pm, 12 and 26 October.
