Glow Your Own LED switch-on 2021
Glow Your Own is a project for creating new light installations by bringing together technology and creative arts.
Circuit of Life was a free interactive installation where, with a QR code, people were able to control a light show that was developed with youth from the Leys CDI summer club, participants in the Glow Your Own coding club and artist Cj — Carise AleJandro.
Young people and families across Oxford and the UK built small LED lanterns that flash in sequences and colours controlled by computer code developed during a 6-week free course.
One of several projects across Oxford for the Oxford Christmas Lights Festival
Glow Your Own is a workshop series where you’ll learn how to use computer coding and sensors in a circuit to control LEDs and motors using Arduinos and Tinkercad, combining art and engineering. The six sessions with worksheets are all available on-demand at if-oxford.comStart your Glow Your Own project
