Glow Your Own 2025 (5/6)

Bring your own robotic lantern to life with lights, sensors and motors. This friendly workshop series combines creativity and engineering, online and in real life, wherever you are. Use an Arduino, LEDs and simple coding, with guidance every step of the way – this practical course is for adults, teenagers and children. Join six live video sessions or work at your own pace using worksheets and recordings at if-oxford.com. Spark your skills and imagination to create something truly unique!

Glow Your Own is six workshops that will take you from technology trepidation to building a computer circuit that powers your own moving digital lantern

Workshop 5 is all about crafting and making a lantern housing for your Arduino and LEDs. Examples included up-cycled egg boxes and using reflective or translucent packaging materials, and other items from the recycling box. We’ll show you how to create LED extension wires so you can be even more creative with your projects.
