Glow Your Own 2022 – weekly coding workshops (4 of 6)
Online event
Get ready for the Oxford Christmas Light Festival by creating your very own moving lantern. This workshop series on Zoom will help you build your own creative circuit with sensors that control LEDs and motors.
Workshop 4 introduces remote control with a light dependent resistor (LDR) sensor and using serial monitor to adjust the sensitivity of your interactive circuit. It shows how to upload code from Tinkercad using Duino.app and control a LEDs flashing in a sequence.
Glow Your Own is six sessions, with equipment available by post. To take part in this series of events, you’ll need a laptop with a USB port, an internet connection and an Arduino starter kit.
Run by IF Oxford and supported by STFC, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UKAEA, Science Oxford, Fusion Arts and Oxford City Council
