Get into gear – learn to fix a bicycle

Venue: City of Oxford College Technology Campus, Cuddesdon Way, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, OX4 6HN

In a city of cyclists it’s always handy to know how to maintain your bike and fix simple problems.

In this interactive 45-minute workshop, learn from Instructors at City of Oxford College Technology Campus what the parts of a bicycle are called and inspect a bicycle for potential faults. Identify worn components, remove a wheel and replace a tyre and inner tube.

There are two workshop sessions to choose from at 1pm and 2pm. Spaces are limited, so please book a ticket.

Bicycles will be supplied, please don’t bring your own.

If you enjoy this session, there’s an opportunity to sign up for a more in-depth Cytech training course at the College.

IF Oxford is operating a Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing system. This works by enabling you to pre-book events without paying for a ticket beforehand. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to pay what you decide you want to, or can afford. If you prefer, you can make a donation when you book.

There may be tickets available on the door – spaces may be reallocated if ticket holders are late.
