The first step in the process is to submit an Expression of Interest to be involved in the Festival.
Anyone can submit an Expression of Interest which may lead to an event in the Festival programme. If you have something interesting to communicate and an engaging way to put your message across, we want to hear from you.
Many organisations and individuals take part each year including universities, colleges, research councils, businesses, publishers, charities and community groups.
Whether you know exactly what you’re offering, or if your event idea is not yet fully formed, please send us your Expression of Interest, and you’ll have the opportunity to speak with the Festival Manager to discuss your ideas.
We will suggest how your idea can be developed or put you in touch with organisations or others who may help you. We can assist you in developing a grant application to support your Festival event, and when the time comes, we will walk you through risk assessments, marketing and audience management processes for a smooth event for you and your team.
